Happy Afternoon from Wisconsin,
If it weren’t for the bare trees you’d never know what’s coming. Today when I walked out the door for lunch I was hit in the face with gorgeous warm air and humidity, it felt like June! Sadly June is long past and winter fast approaches. Here in Wisconsin we are getting out ice scrapers (who am I kidding any good WI gal will tell you those never leave the car) and winter parkas. Our feet won’t see the sun until next April and those farmer tans will have long since faded by the time we get out t-shirts next March.
Winter is not without its perks however. We don’t blast from summer to winter, first we get to experience one of the most colorful spectacles on Earth, autumn. The leaves are gorgeous, the air is clear and the light is great! No other time of year gives us such incredible golden leaves, amazing reds or those deep blue skies. So how do you capture all that color? Panoramics. What a great way to introduce you to my favorite landscapes. These panoramas show two of my favorite places bathed in Wisconsin’s beautiful autumn light. Enjoy!
Clear Skies and Happy Feathers,
Becca
